New Zealand’s new-build townhouses are designed to be neutral, efficient, and easy to sell. White walls, open plans, compact kitchens, limited storage, minimal detail.
They work on paper, but often feel unfinished in real life.
This project began as a response to that. A way of turning a standard, off-the-plan home into something cosier, more functional, and more considered, without touching the structure.
